Had an accident? Tips!

Some advices are primary so that your loss adjustment process runs smoothly, according with your policy conditions:

1) Get in touch with your insurance broker..
They are capable professionals and experts at identifying your real needs, at the time of contracting an insurance company as well as to help you at the moment of an accident.

2) It's fundamental to have the knowledge of the rights and duties, previously planned in your insurance contract.
ALWAYS READ THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF YOUR POLICY AND TALK TO YOUR INSURANCE BROKER BEFORE COMPLAINING OR QUESTIONING YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY.

3) Contact your company as soon as the accident has occurred, giving as much information as possible and making a correct and detailed survey of the damages.

4) Schedule yourself for the Loss Adjustment.
Get all the necessary documents described in your insurance contract, helping therefore the process.
Many adjustments process are not fully accomplished due to the lack of information and the clarification of the facts occurred previously, during and after an accident.

5) Be patient.
Check the deadline planned in the contract for the closure of the entire process.

6) No insurance company has either the intention of answering badly its clients or not refunding a loss; on the contrary. The aim of the loss adjustment is to establish the indemnification, when needed, in the correct and fair way.
